Emerging technologies in robotics and artificial intelligence will prove the 21st century to be one of the most consequential time periods in human history. Each year, more and more human tasks will become automated by technology.
Hunter Korble, Head Chef, believes in a future where humans needing to cook and prepare food is a thing of the past. Humans spend many hours each month preparing and cooking food. For many, this time could be better spent on other pursuits. While most people occasionally enjoy creating and preparing food, cooking is often more of a chore than a treat. Hunter believes that cooking should be left as a leisure and hobbyist activity, rather than a survival skill.

Before the existence of modern plumbing and hydro infrastructure, humans would spend significant amounts of time commuting back and forth from a water well or river. New technologies have allowed access to water to be as simple as switching on the tap. Automating the culinary and agricultural process is simply the next step.

Chef Robo Culinary Robotics is a team filled with young and aspiring engineers from multiple disciplines. We plan to continue developing our projects, seek funding, and advance technology so that one day the dream of consumer-available culinary robotics will turn to a reality.
